On Friday 21 July, we officially opened the refurbished kitchen at their Seymour Community Hub, with funding support from Selwood Housing.
We were joined by the Mayor of Trowbridge, Stephen Cooper, who proudly announced Trowbridge Future as one of his chosen charities of the year. Mike Pocklington and Aaron Hayes, who both generously donated their time to fit the new kitchen, were also on hand to help cut the ribbon.
The Anchor Butter Foundation donated the funds to purchase the new kitchen, and Trowbridge-based Apetito donated some much-needed equipment.
Zoe Meaden, Community Manager at Trowbridge Future also announced that they have received further funding from Hubub, a National Community Fridge network and they have now planned cultural cookery lessons to launch in September, with more exciting projects in the pipeline.
