COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
COMMUNITY FRIDGE
We have established three Community Fridges in our priority areas of Longfield, Seymour and Studley Green, re-distributing unsold food from local supermarkets, food outlets and a bakery.
The Community Fridges aim to 'feed bellies not bins' by saving good, fresh food from landfills. They are open to anybody, with no booking or
registration needed. Just turn up, get in the queue, and receive a bag of
quality food.
This supports the Campaign Against Food Waste and Wiltshire Council’s policy to become carbon neutral by 2030.

KINDNESS CAFE
Trowbridge Future run two popular weekly Kindness Cafes at Studley Green Community Centre and Seymour Community Hub offering a safe space to come together and build peer support with other local residents.
The Kindness Cafes are open for anybody to come along, meet new
people, and have a cup of tea in warm, comfortable space.

CRAFT CAFE
Trowbridge Future host two popular Craft Cafes each week at The Shires Community Hub and our Seymour Community Hub.
The Craft Cafes are the chance out some new creative activities often themed around wider cultural events. People are welcome to bring their own creative projects to work on in company.
All projects are beginner-friendly and open to anybody.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE GROUP
We hope an English Language Group from The Shires Community Hub every Friday. We run a beginner class and a more advanced class.
This group is for anybody looking to improve their English skills as a second language with the support of a training language teacher.
